Thackeray, based on the life of the Shiv Sena Supremo – Balasaheb Thackeray, saw its newly released trailer trending on YouTube, with over 10 million hits. Firebrand Journalist-MP and man behind the film, Sanjay Raut, divulged that the casting for the role of Balasaheb took barely two minutes!
“Once while I was traveling, I watched Freaky Ali, where Nawazuddin Siddiqui played a golfer. I had already seen it before but I started watching it again, only to realize that Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s face can be made to look like Balasaheb,” said Sanjay Raut, who is also the writer of the film.
Sanjay Raut averred that before casting Nawazuddin Siddiqui, he wanted to see his style and gestures. In a matter of moments, Sanjay Raut was convinced. “I called him at a hotel and I observed his style and gait. And within minutes, I told him that I am making the ‘Thackeray’ biopic and he is playing Balasaheb Thackeray,” continued Sanjay Raut.
Thackeray is slated for a worldwide release on January 25, 2019, Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the Shiv Sena Supremo alongside Amrita Rao who will portray Meenatai Thackeray. Thackeray is directed by Abhijit Panse, presented by Sanjay Raut, produced by Raut’ers Entertainment LLP, Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Carnival Motion Pictures.

Cleanse, tone and moisturise daily
The rule of thumb for flawless glowing facial skin still remains a regular cleansing, toning and moisturising routine. When it comes to cleansing, rose water is the best cleasing agent. Take cotton wool, dab it with rose water and apply it on the face to feel fresh and clean immediately. Cleansing your face twice a day will prevent breakout of pimples. Always make it a point to follow your cleansing routine by toning. Tulsi water is a great nourishing toner and you can use it with a piece of cotton wool. Now, make a mixture of onion juice, multani mitti and honey. Use this as a natural moisturiser to bring back freshness and glow on your face. Use this for achiving a glowing face.
Use lime juice as a scrub
Mix lime juice with sweet almond oil and sea salt. Use your fingers or a cotton wool and apply it on your face in a circular motion. This natural scrub will remove dead cells from your face giving a radiant glow. Lime peel also aids in fading scars and pimple marks from face.
Use besan (gram flour) to get rid of tan

Gurugram: Glamour Gurgaon organized a free Breast Cancer Awareness camp & free medical check on 28th October 2018 in DLF Phase-5, Trinity Club, Trinity Tower Apartments, Club Drive Road for under privileged section of the society. The camp started in the morning around 10 am and went on till 12 noon.
Trained doctors and nurses from W-Pratiksha Hospital conducted the camp for all the underprivileged people with the medical support from the hospital. The entire free check-up was done through medical equipment which was provided by the hospital authority. Doctors and all the former models and participants of Mrs. India –Pride of Nation and Mrs. Delhi NCR came together for this cause and educated the people about the Breast Cancer. They spoke about early symptoms of Breast Cancer and how it can be removed to avoid any further suffering in the future.
As per the survey, more than half of the women population lives under the misconception that breast cancer can only happen to women of old-age or those with a medical history in their family. This fact gave Glamour Gurgaon a reason to conduct a series of breast cancer awareness camps and impart knowledge on its early detection. Due to societal pressure, under privileged women are reluctant to consult a doctor and avail any health check -up for breast cancer. The former models and participants of Mrs. India –Pride of Nation and Mrs. Delhi NCR went to each woman and spoke to them about the cause and false myths around this disease, hence breaking the ice for them.
After a daylong free check-ups, all these models and participants gathered at the Duty Free- Vayu Bar Club at Sector 29, Gurugram, where they walked the ramp to support the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign promoted the message of self-examination. Post the ramp walk, people shared some survival tales and inspired many to talk about the disease in open.
Sharing the objective of the campaign, Barkha Nangia, Director – Glamour Gurgaon said, “Women, particularly from lower strata, are ill informed about Breast Cancer. Our efforts were not only to raise awareness around the existence of breast cancer, but also provide the women with the knowledge and understanding to conduct a self-test. I thankful to our partners who willingly joined hands with us without expecting any profits in return.”
All the pageants organized by Glamour Gurgaon focus on the social cause of Breast Cancer Awareness, and this year they have done more than 10,000 camps.
