Glamour Gurgaon redefined the essence of womanhood in modern world

Aushima Vijay from group A & Namrata Sagar from group B and were crowned winner of Mrs. India – Pride of Nation 2018 in two different categories. Ekta Sharma is crown as 1st runner up from group A & from group B Sunita Pankaj is honoured as 1st runner up. 2nd runner up from group A is Ashima Sethi & Biral Bharadwaj from group B. The grand finale was held on September 15, 2018 at The Leela Ambience Gurgaon. The second edition of the pageant organized by Glamour Gurgaon was focused on Breast Cancer Awareness.

Celebrities like Tanisha Mukerji, Film Actress; Aashka Goradia, the famous Indian television actor featured in various shows like Kkusum and Naagin series and Rytasha Rathore, famous for her role as Badho from BadhoBahu were the part of the jury panel for the grand final show. Also there were Jury Members like Dr. Rupali Chauhan, Renowned Skin care & Wellness expert, Ms. Disha Meher from Urban Clap, Ms. Roopa Pahwa, renowned Image Consultant present at the Event judging 90 Finalists across three rounds.

Conceptualized by Barkha Nangia, Director – Glamour Gurgaon, the pageant is the essence of womanhood in the modern world. The pageant not only showcase the beauty and talent of these passionate married women, but also strives to empower them to be better contributors to the society. The second edition of Mrs.India – Pride of Nation focused on Breast Cancer Awareness and this year they have done more 10,000 awareness camp. The mission of finding the Mrs. India-Pride of Nation 2018 started by city auditions across India, where more than 3000 women contestants were screened. The shortlisted 90 contestants went through a strenuous auditions and training sessions to win this prestigious title.
Sharing her views on the pageant, actor Aashka Goradia said, “It’s really a nice event. Women should be the pride of the nation. And I am glad to see that somebody is making an effort to make the world know them as the pride.” Talking further about her future plans she said, “Actually I am on the way to Amroha where my NGO Stamp is about to adopt a garden. Stamp believes in planting trees and reviving the environment. It is really important right now especially seeing the pollution in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities. Tree cover in India is the least in the world i.e. only 33%. It’s terrible. We need to recharge cities into having a greener agenda. We have to go into grassroots level and educate the young about how important nature is.”
Actor Rytasha Rathore who is also a woman entrepreneur said, “There are number of ladies who have done things with their careers and their homes and managed both the world with so much grace and perfection. I can’t wait to see everybody.” When asked about her brand,she exclaimed with pride,” My product just fits perfectly in this pageant. Renee by Oscar We are starting to formulate a lot of color cosmetics in skin care after the eyelashes. Launching the eyelash was to take it to girls and tell them that pro make-up can be really easy if done rightly. Hence eyelashes.”
Glamour Gurgaon has organized many beauty pageants so far, including the Mrs Punjab – Pride of Nation and Mrs Delhi-NCR. This pageant is the grandest of all withmulti-city contestants, renowned fashion designers, image consultants and celebrities on the jury panel, in-depth training, photo shoots and makeup sessions all goes into preparing to find that one woman who deserves to be crowned as Mrs. India – Pride of Nation.

‘Raavan is in my blood my veins’ : Puneet Issar

A well known wicked villain of Bollywood and TV star Puneet Issar is all set to play his most favorite and challenging role of ‘Raavan’ for the world’s biggest Luvkush Ramlila this year, which is taking a head start from 10th October.
The actor who was witnessed in Bigg Boss season 8 and appreciated for his ‘Duriyodhan’ role in Mahabharata TV show, who have already performed and known for his character of Raavan for shows Raavan Ki Ramayan and many others will now excite us with his soulful performance in LuvKush Ramlila. His roles are always fun to watch and got a huge amount of applause whether it’s Duriyodhan or Parshuram in TV shows. The actor with the Calibur of playing such harsh roles is coming up with its favorite character. According to Puneet, Ravana is his dearest character and he’s very determined for this role. Though, he is always been appreciated for such kind of malicious role in the entertainment industry.

About his role in this year’s LuvKush Ramlila, he added, “Ashok Aggarwal Ji (Chairman of Luvkush Ramlila) use to see my performance since last three years, he wanted me to be the part of his Ramlila, so finally this year I managed to perform for the same. And I am sure this year Ramlila will spread its magic in a bigger way. Ramlila is a big platform, and I am entirely dedicated to my role. Basically, it’s a feather to my cap and I dedicate my whole life for it.”

Lunette… from where this came in your mind?
Lunette is the Latin synonym of my Urdu name SALMA, it means goddess of moon or abundance of moonlight. I wanted to name my fashion label which express me, from where my design ideas originated.
What Lunette expertise in fashion industry?
Fashion is forever but trends will be new, for lunette knows just what next will ensue. One may be simple or elaborate, light or glittery, dreary or glamorous Lunette serves customized design solutions. It’s all about culminations of matriculation and adaptation. The designs at lunette are always inspired by the one who are familiar with who they are and portray the exact in their work.
How Salma as designer feel to add to the fashion industry?
I have always been ardent fan of designing and I believe in doing it my way. As I believe that everybody needs a makeover at least one in a lifetime. Fashion connotes the way of living of each of us and lunette understands the inner feeling of everyone to present herself according to her thinking & protruding one’s lifestyle.
What are your future plans as Lunette?
I see myself as chief editor in any of leading fashion magazine, and as a global fashion label in coming years
What do u think about showcasing your brand at national fashion show?
It is to bring the change, to introduce the world with the beauty around them by capturing it in the form of robè where every detail is well cared of, be it the fabric or design.
